Privacy policy
How AgentReady handles personal data. Written to be readable, not to hide behind jargon.
Who we are
AgentReady is a booking platform that helps Irish service businesses become bookable by AI shopping agents. For the purposes of the EU GDPR, the business you book with is the data controller of your booking, and AgentReady acts as its processor.
What we collect
When a booking is made we store the service booked, the appointment time, and the contact details you provide (name, and optionally email and phone). For each AI agent interaction we log the endpoint used, the agent's identifier, the time, and a short summary of the request.
What we deliberately do not store
Agent logs do not contain customer names, email addresses or phone numbers. Logs are limited to what is needed to demonstrate transparency: which agent called, which endpoint, when, and a non-personal summary.
Why we process it
We process booking data to confirm and manage your appointment and to email confirmations. We process agent interaction logs to meet EU AI Act Article 50 transparency obligations and to show businesses how AI agents are using their storefront.
Legal basis
Booking data is processed to perform the service you requested and on the legitimate interest of the business in managing appointments. AI Act disclosure records are processed to comply with a legal obligation.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as needed to manage the appointment and for the business's normal record-keeping period. Businesses can delete a booking and its customer data at any time from their dashboard.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact the business you booked with, or contact us and we will pass your request on.
Security
Data is stored with access controls so that a business owner can only ever see their own business's data. Access is enforced at the database level for every request.
